Heading North

Tonight is the eve of our departure for the far north. We've been visiting with family for the past three weeks and now it is time to start the journey in earnest. We've bought our gadgets and supplies, researched the areas we will be traveling to, and although it still feels like we are a little unprepared, it is time to throw caution to the wind and just go. I am excited to explore the heritage of my country that so few bother to explore, and although the road may be paved with hardships, it will also be full of memorable experiences. Dempster highway, here we come!
